If ya looking for a place to shop for necessities, I would recommend Ocean(Level 2) or Swantons(Level 3) at People’s Park complex. You can get stuffs at 30%-50% off the retail price at Watson or Guardian. I got my St Ives face scrub at $5.50 while Watson is selling it at $9 and stocked up my all time favourite shiseido shampoo. Baby bought 3 Dettol handwash at $5. Can you believe this cos its retailing at 3 plus for one handwash at watson. Imagine the amount of money you save. Shiok-ness!

Finally lay my hands on Chanel loose powder. I was searching for loose powder with Asther at beauty hall the other day. We went around Dior, Ettusais, Chanel etc. What makes Chanel stand out from the rest is bec the powder is really fine and I kinda like the shimmers in it. The whole tub can prob last me a year. Haha.

The day we went shopping. There was this couple who kept looking at us and apparently we find them kinda familiar too. Suddenly, the girl said “Taiwan”. Ohhhh! They were the one whom we took the same flight to Taiwan plus we met them at shilin and ximendeng. How coincidence!
Lantern festival is just around the corner. How can we miss out on mooncakes? I bought this assorted snow skin mooncake for auntie. It consists of Japanese sweet potate paste with atap seeds and red bean, white lotus seed paste with egg yolk, whisky chocolate praline and wild strawberry yohurt. I truely adore the modern mooncake classics and not the traditional. 2 thumbs up!

I’ve been stalked

I still feel traumatised whenever I think about what happened this evening. Baby and I headed to Borders and were at “Business” section to search for some reference books. So at the corner of my eye, I saw this guy kept looking at me. Soon, he entered into “Business” section and seemed to be looking for a book. My instinct tells me to be on guard and I told hubby about it. Tried to stay away from him as far as possible. Thought that I may be too sensitive and felt kinda uncomfortable with that guy around so I told hubby that I’ll go over to the mag section while he continued to stay at the “Business” section. Just when I start browsing for fashion mags, I saw that guy at the mag section too. I was terrified and hurried my way back to find hubby. Hubby also realised that the guy was gone after I made my way to the Mag section. And then we saw him at the “Business” section again. I wanted to get some mag badly so baby accompanied me there and we saw him at the mag section yet again. Therefore, Im 100% sure that he’s stalking me. While I was making payment at the cashier, baby saw him at the entrance, seemed to be loitering around. We walked through the crowd, trying to shake him off and making sure that he’s gone before heading to the car.

What makes me so sure that he’s stalking me?
Firstly, there’s a distance away from the “business” section to the mag section. Before I left for Mag section, he was still at “Business” section. When I got to mag section, I saw him within the next few seconds.
Secondly, I hurried back to find hubby meaning I walked the same distance back. And I saw him back at “Business” section within the next few seconds too.
Thirdly, based on that sicko guy’s behaviour, hubby feels that he’s stalking me too.

The weirdest thing was that why is he still stalking me when he knows that Hubby’s around? I tried to make known to him of Hubby’s presence by clinging on to hubby but it didnt work.

How strange!

Yayness to new HP!

Finally, I got my new phone, Nokia E71. Baby got his iphone as well. This fellow here has been changing his mobile every 6 months. Its a very bad habit. He told me he’s gonna use this phone for long. Im giving him the benefit of the doubt. Haha. I kinda like iphone but just felt that I wouldnt need all the complicated functions.

Birthday celebration for Sept babies last weekend. Had Seoul garden and was amazed by the amount of food we ate. Keep replenishing the beef, tom yum chicken and prawn. TCC next for coffee and cake cutting.

I wanna go shopping!

How I wish I have 48hrs a day. Im always out in the day and back in wee hours. Totally shagged out. The past week was busy with flea and babu’s farewell. Speaking of flea, gosh, the weather was horrendous. It rained the whole damn day. Thus we left early. On the bright side, we headed home early to anticipate the arrival of the new Honda Civic.

Kinda deprive of shopping. I need to clear my wishlist soon.

Zouk Flea was FUN!

We had hell lotsa fun over at Zouk Flea. The crowd was crazy and responses were overwhelming. The whole preparation was god damn tiring but its all worthwhile right darling? Everything passed in the blink of an eye. We were extremely busy and thank god for Dan & Josh. If not, we would be struggling. Met a couple of our rivals and they are really nice people. I was totally exhausted & KO-ed once i hit the bed, leaving baby watching the Man U match alone. Felt quite bad about it cos I promised to accompany him. We have another flea coming up. Its LIME flea this coming Sat. Do drop by.

A piece of good news to share. I passed all my papers. Hip hip hurray! Phew, was so worried that I might flunk one. Im left with 2 more papers and Im done. Babu’s going Finland tml. We will be sending him off. I’ll miss his lame jokes and fat arse. Haha.

Absolute Haven is indeed a place of heaven

Hello people! Im back from my Genting trip. Update on my trip soon. I took an amazing amount of 200 over peektures during the 3D2N stay. This is totally insane. Anyway, this entry is gonna be about my hubby birthday dinner.

Absolute Haven is indeed a great place to dine with excellent service. The whole dining process was very pleasant. Unsure of what to eat? Fret not, cos Phyllis will make recommendation based on your liking and she definitely has good product knowledge. I really love~ the lamb rack thou im not a very lambie person. The lamb was really juicy and tender. Even hubby fell in love with it. The sauce certainly made a plus point.

Told a white lie that Im bringing him somewhere else for desserts. In fact, I’ve made some coordination with Phyllis over the phone during reservation. Hubby was indeed SURPRISED! Thats the expression that I wanna get from him. Haha.

Phyllis’s real sweet to take a picture of us and presented a self made card to hubby. Aww.. this definitely melts his heart.

Heart to heart talk certainly make our love even stronger!

To satisfy my craving dunno since when. Durian for the durian lover and thats his mum. She’s hard core durian fan due to the fact that she finished up the whole durian by herself and within a few hours. Apparently, hubby was looking for it and its all gone. Haha.

Just a random gathering @Siong’s place and a real advanced birthday celebration for hubby. His sis’s real sweet to get him a cake and informed others for that mini surprise. Guess what Siong got him for his bdae? A new horn. Just a few days back, we were discussing to add in more horn due to those annoying drivers on the road. He’s jumping for joy.

Everybody crowd around the table for cake cutting. His mum attempt to make him a pussy cat face. Haha.

Arranged with the usual gang for a meetup. Babu’s going to Finland soon. Our gang getting smaller and smaller. This amazing babu gained 9 kilo in one month. A round of applause man! Left for Clarke Quay for more drinking.

Suggested desserts and therefore came across Ice Cream chef. The kaya ‘lo di’ is kinda unique & we gonna try lychee next time round.

We didnt wanna end the day early thus ended up at ECP. Massive camwhore yet again. Had some heart to heart talk and this certainly make our love even stronger. Love ya darling

Swim swam swum

Just came back from jog and swim with sis.
We shared a cubicle and had our weekly hair mask together.
Im trying to go swimming every week.
I want to lead a healthy lifetsyle. haha.

Is it the durian season now? Saw lotsa cars parked at the side of the road at still road and bugis street just for durian. Heard from baby that apparently the price for D24 has dropped. That must be one of the reason for the demand.

The long awaited Batman is here. Went to book tix the day before. The movie was terrific and joker was good man.

Movie ended pretty late/ stayover/ Had a hard time waking up my piggy hubby/ took a nap and slept 3hrs straight/ Spotted Singapore flag and got so excited / Dinner @Parkway

Im really a fortunate girl for having such a wonderful family not forgetting my ever sweetest boy. I have a fabulous dad who gets us breakfast every morning, help to clear my messy room, help my mum with household chores etc. People commented that I have a really lovely dad and I totally agree.
